We have identified the issue, and response times are back to acceptable levels.

We're working through the backlog of activity that we missed on the fediverse and that work is progressing in a positive direction. It may take a few hours for us to catch up.

We're finally completely off the cloud. We will be closing this maintenance window at this time.

We are still troubleshooting some performance issues - but making good headway, resolving the first issue and working on the next emergent issue.

We have switched over to the new database server, however we're troubleshooting some issues with managing the load. We're tweaking settings in the background.

Work is still underway as the restore into our new database server continues.

The database has been successfully downloaded from our cloud source and is now being restored into our new database server.

Mastodon Canada will be taking a full and complete downtime to migrate our 450 GB database from the cloud to our servers.
